Carpenter's Shelter |
For 6 years, the Miami Alumni Chapter in Washington DC has had a special relationship with Carpenter's Homeless Shelter. Every month, volunteers take the kids of Carpenter's on a field trip. NOW, Carpenter's Shelter is selling Valentine's Day cards. For a contribution of $10/card, Carpenter's will send your loved ones a card with a notation that "a contribution has been made in your name to Carpenter's Shelter, Northern Virginia's largest shelter for homeless children, families and adults."
To see the card, go to www.carpentersshelter.org. Questions about cards or volunteering? Contact Ali (Hagele) DeCourcey at alisondecourcey@att.net or 571-215-6910. |
