VOLUNTEER: 4th annual Carpenter's Cookoff, Sunday, April 30, 11:30AM-1:30PM

The Washington DC Area Miami Alumni Chapter is looking for volunteers to help at the 4th annual Carpenter's Cookoff, benefitting the Carpenter's Shelter! This is a little different from usual where we just play with the kids. This is a fundraiser - a "taste of Alexandria" - where a dozen restaurants serve samples of their goods. It’s always a great time with: Great food (free for volunteers!) As Northern Virginia's largest homeless shelter, Carpenter's serves more than 1,000 children, women and men each year. Since 1998, Miami alums have been leading field trips with the kids of Carpenter’s Shelter. We hope you’ll join us for this event! P.S. Come represent your community while bringing awareness to a great cause!
